First, you should observe your puppy’s behavior before defecating or urinating. Is he turning around? Or is he sniffing on floors? If he does these things, he is probably locating specific areas where he can put his dumps.

After you observe your puppy’s behavior before excreting, try to pick him up and place him to a location where you want him to void his waste. You can take him to your garden or to a specific litter box you prepared for him. These areas are more comfortable during the “nature’s call” of your puppy.

As a part of showing support, it is important that you should stand besides him until the end of his job. Try to observe him, and take note of the place he went for his waste dumping action, and carry him to the exact location when you notice him that he wants to do it again, because he will probably locate the same area the next time he does it independently.

Don’t rinse the place with solutions, especially those that contain ammonia. Ammonia is like that of the smell of your pet’s urine. So, there will be instances that he will pee in places where you spilled the ammonia-based solution. Instead, just be patient and try to pick his waste and place it in the waste can.

For his sleeping sites, observe what does he likes best. Is it cotton or another kind of fabric? Does he like to sleep on cool floors? Does he love warm or cool bed sites? You should observe for this, and try to provide him on what makes him at ease. Just don’t allow him to sleep on dirty floors, or dry sand because there might me pest around to mess with your puppy. Remember, cleanliness is a must to have a healthy pet around the house, especially which your puppy is at risk of many skin infections and allergies during his developmental years.

Finally, never punish your puppy to the limit. It takes time for him to perfect the house training, so you should be patient as well. In no time, he can master what you desire for him, and eventually he can do it by himself as long as you are dedicated to train him at your best.
